Several films, especially Star Wars, feature villains trying to manipulate the heroes into joining their side. However, Lord Voldemort never tries to convert Harry Potter into Dark Magic.
As a big egomaniac, it makes sense that Lord Voldemort didn't like the idea of Harry, someone who could eventually become his equal, joining his ranks. On top of that, because of the prophecy, Voldemort is scared that Harry could become his downfall.
The new reboot could explore a more complex and intriguing relationship between Voldemort and Harry, as their villain/hero relationship is unlike any other.
