Ignited by Beast Boy's backfired attempt to stop the alien conqueror Starro, a new breed of spores capable of transforming humans into literal beasts has been introduced into the atmosphere. This extends to the metahuman population as well, with powerful heroes such as Power Girl and Black Adam succumbing to their animalistic natures. The latest tie-in proves that not even the heroes of Gotham are immune.
