As the cold sets in and the month of December nears an end, there can only be one thing that everyone awaits before saying farewell to the year, and that would be the occasion of Christmas. Different countries and regions of the world have distinct traditions and folklore connected to the merriment of the time, with some even serving as a deterrent for naughty children. While Krampus remains the most notable figure for scaring kids into behaving, there are other vicious beasts much bigger and more dangerous in tales from the harsh Icelandic north that send a shiver down even a grown man's spine. So, when Hellboy goes up against one such mythological creature, the battle's outcome might not bode well for either party.
