Crisis On Infinite Earths is the most important DC story of the last fifty years. The 1985-1986 comic, by legendary creators Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, destroyed the DC Multiverse and gave birth to the post-Crisis DC Universe. It's the story that brought DC Comics into the modern day and changed the publisher in the years to come. While the story has been a big deal in the comics, with its events being revisited many times, Crisis hasn't been utilized by non-comics media very often. Only the Arrowverse got a Crisis adaptation, which is downright strange for DC Comics fans, who are used to Crisis coming back around at least once a decade since the '80s.
