The MCU and the Multiverse Saga have likely lost a villain in Kang, but adapting House of M may give the shared universe a sense of direction again.

With Kang likely finished in the MCU, the shared universe needs a new direction.
House of M can provide this while pivoting the story to mutants and bringing back Scarlet Witch.
Likewise, it can redeem the Multiverse Saga with nostalgia more akin to No Way Home than Multiverse of Madness.
