Author Details

Matt Scheer is a professional writer, amateur actor and singer, and lifelong pop culture geek. Don't get him started on Star Trek, Star Wars, Farscape, DC Comics, The MCU or The Muppets unless you have an afternoon to spare. His first book, After Mask: A Mr. En Mystery, is a blend of noir mystery, science fiction and the superhero genre and is available on Amazon! Matt is currently working on the sequel, The Masked God, which should be out next year.

Favorite Media

Matt is a massive Muppet fan (who can do a better-than-average Kermit the Frog impression) and devoted Scaper (Farscape fan, for the uninitiated). Of course, Matt's also a huge dork for Star Wars, Star Trek and the Arrowverse.

Industry Focus

Matt joined CBR in November 2022 as a TV Features Writer. As of October 2023, he's added Lists to his repertoire, as well.
