Daniel Dae Kim played Chin Ho Kelly on Hawaii Five-0 for every episode in the first seven seasons. He left before Season 8 for an unfortunate reason.

Daniel Dae Kim's Chin Ho Kelly left Hawaii Five-0 at the end of its seventh season after appearing in 168 episodes of the long-running procedural.
The series explained that Chin Ho Kelly had been transferred to San Francisco but, in real life, Kim departed Hawaii Five-0 because of a pay dispute.
Since leaving Hawaii Five-0, Daniel Dae Kim has had many prominent movie and television roles, including as Fire Lord Ozai in the upcoming Netflix adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
