Rebel Moon Part One: A Child of Fire, the latest from director Zack Snyder, pays homage to classic sci-fi space opera and ensemble-building stories, like Star Wars. At the center of this narrative is Kora, played by Sofia Boutella, a former Imperial soldier with a dark, violent, and morally ambiguous past, and Atticus Noble, played by Ed Skrein, the ruthless Imperial Admiral with a fanatical devotion to the despotic Regency and a personal bone to pick with Kora. When Kora's new home is threatened by Noble and the Imperial Army, she and a naive farmer scour the galaxy for the most infamous rebels, warriors, and renegades in the universe. Unfortunately, Noble's forces are never far behind.
